To take part, you need to register for this event at www.passportesdusoleil.com
Lifts open for this weekend and will operate extended hours in order to maximize time on the trails – and assist those who prefer to only go down hill!
There will be refreshment points and marshals, along with workshops and roving mechanics. You can’t guarantee only needing help at designated points, so here is a list of items you should consider taking with you:
- Spare innertubes and boots (for emergency get-me-home repairs to ripped tyres)
- Multitool, chainbreaker and powerlinks (or spare chain links)
- Assorted allen bolts, cable ties
An MTB exhibition will showcase the best of bikes – with free trials for registered riders and demonstrations by pro riders.
If you need to hire a bike, we recommend Alpine Sports and will be doing a feature on their bikes soon. They even have a few GT Fury World Cup downhill bikes this season!
Once off the bike, if you have any injuries or would like a general sports massage, then Aiglon Morzine has an in-house physiotherapist and sports massage team.
Your bikes will be well looked after at Aiglon too, as we have secure bike storage, work stands, tools and a washing station with jet wash. And, you can dry your shoes and gear in our drying room, ready for the next day's epic ride!
Entertainment is taking place throughout the region day and evening. Watch this short video to get a taste of the Passportes du Soleil:
