We wanted to share an email we received from the Waldron family after a recent stay at L’Aiglon. More specifically, a review from Lucy, their 15-year old daughter. Thanks Lucy for sharing your opinion with us!
”The weather was warm and sunny when we first arrived at L’aiglon de Morzine. Our apartment has three comfortable bedrooms, each with their own en suite. There was also a large living area and a kitchen. Thankfully, the apartment had wifi as well as balconies overlooking the large garden and patio that we had access to and where many barbecues took place. From our balconies we also had a stunning view of the French Alps and the town of Morzine.
The supermarket right beside the apartment supplied us with most of our necessities for the days spent in Morzine. The apartment was only a short walk from the bustling town centre where we would get our freshly baked croissants for breakfast. The town was packed full of restaurants that provided delicious meals in the evening.
The general atmosphere in Morzine was happy and friendly, each day spent there was thoroughly enjoyable. Throughout the day we did many activities such as troboggoning, mountain biking, walking up the mountains and water rafting. There was also a large leisure centre where you could go to either an outdoor or indoor swimming pool and even an ice skating rink. One of the most memorable activities from the holiday was paragliding. The view was outstanding and the feeling of being up high in the air flying is one I’ll never forget. We even went paddle boarding and swimming in a nearby lake at Les Gets.
A holiday to Morzine is perfect for the whole family, there is something for everyone to do and it’s a holiday I will never forget. However, the holiday wouldn’t have been such a success if we didn’t have a quiet, comfortable and peaceful apartment to go back to in the evenings at L’aiglon de Morzine which thankfully provided us with a warm bed to have a good nights sleep in. “
